It must not be much fun dusting at your place at this time of year! ;)

I think we had the same set as you! All that's left is the Jesus and He lives in the kitchen cupboard year-round.

Lovely. The first thing I'm going to get out of our boxes when we move is our nativity scene...

We have GOT to get a nativity scene. *sigh*

I think the last nativity set we had was one made from paper dolls. I was maybe 6 or 7 years old, and played with them like they were a dollhouse. I can still picture the cone-shaped bottoms and round heads, and the intricate design on the wise men's robes.

I have the same set! Too cute!

I finally invested in a bigger nativity set, but it doesn't make me smile like this one does, so I put them all up!

My kids call our nativity set "the Jesus Toy" and they play with it like every other toy they have. You wouldn't believe the stories they come up with, there was a really good one the other day about Jesus and the fairy...

That picture brought tears to my eyes. I'm not sure why, exactly, but it did. The sweetness of the figurines, the spirit they evoke, the quiet kitchen in the background. The title.

Lovely.
