What stunning kiddies you have!

Oh, their FACES! So cute.
And my husband keeps all of the kids' little relic toques in his desk drawer, besides the socks. He is such a sap.

My hats are put away in their keepsake boxes...I never thought of getting them out again. My heart probably couldn't handle it!

Adorable.

Bub's eyes! They are so big, and such a gorgeous grayish green.

The Bub is getting so BIG!

Erin - Yeah, the do-rag really ages him, I think.

What a cool, cool idea!!! VERY creative!!! What a neat way to see how much they have grown!!

You make beautiful babies, lady.
Of course Bub looks NOTHING like a baby in that photo. You can see Bub-As-Teen in that face.

I love Bub's eyes! And the Pie? Adorable.

oh my god! we too still have the crazy cute little hats the kids got in the hospital!

I love it! I wonder where our baby hats are...

Oh! Look at your gorgeous children and their big heads. Oh wait. It's the hats that are small.

I get it now.

Ours usually ends up on the girls dolls.

Happy WW!!

We didn't get a little beany ball on our hat in the hospital. Is that a NY thing?

So sweet.

No words.

Must be a day for panging for things past in the blog world.

Jenn - That's the thing about Wordlessness, isn't it? Because I think I'm immune to that particular form of nostalgia - I see those photos and I feel nothing but pure satisfaction.

Your kids are so adorable. I'm going to have to find Bee's hat for her sister to wear as well.

How fun!

Our son's baby hospital hat was hand knit by some lovely ladies who make donations to the hospital. It makes me weepy.

danigirl said...

Oh, the nearly unbearable cuteness!

(What a sweet idea... I might have to steal it for comparison when the new baby arrives!)

Wow. Bub looks totally pre-teen there. Did 7 years just fly by unnoticed?

what cute pictures!!

Lawyer Mama said...

ADORABLE! And when did they grow up?

Rae said...

Just tell them to stop. Growing. Although that might be a little bit disfunctional.

AnneK said...

Cute smiles both of them...and those curls on the Pie! How adorable is that?

Kelly said...

No!!!! No pictures of glorious infants in their tiny hats. Can't you see? They're calling out to my ovaries, telling me to procreate just one last time.

Lovely babes, lovely kids. Even in tiny hats that fit them no longer.

Mimi said...

Seriously, they are almost unbearably cute: I think it's the big blue eyes. The Pie, especially, looks full of mischief, while Bub is beguiling ... free of guile? I want to scoop them both up and hug them, honestly.

bubandpie said...

Mimi - I was thinking the same thing. I don't know how long I'll keep posting pictures of the Bub (especially now that we all know how he'll look when he's 13!). But there is something so utterly guileless about him right now that it still feels like I'm posting photos of my sweet babe.

I don't think I got baby hats... I'm awed that you were organized enough to save them and then be able to find them again later!

Today is my second-born's 8th birthday, and it just so happens thet we had his little hat out earlier this evening while looking at his baby pictures. This was a very nice-- not to mention well-timed-- Wordless Wednesday.

Awww. Your kiddos are so adorable, B&P!

They are just so cute. What a great idea, too, to have them wear those.
