Janet - Yep. Hardwood in the foreground and cork in the kitchen. Both need a good scrub-down, but we're waiting until the hardwood installer comes back to (supposedly) fix the mistakes he made the first time.
Oh, it's GORGEOUS! And the kids look so happy. New houses are all potential, aren't they? A new, blank canvas (albeit one with carefully chosen wall colours and flooring and cabinets ...)
HOW exciting!! The first meal in my new house (8 yrs ago) I ordered a pizza. We didn't have furniture in yet other than a card table. As I was carrying it to the card table I dropped it. The box flew open and I had a hot pizza upside down on my new beige carpet. Oh, and no cleaning supplies. Because we hadn't moved in yet. Yes, I cried.
