How exciting!! Your kitchen looks so cheerful and is that cork I spy in the second photo? Whatever it is, I love the warmth of it.

Enjoy.

It looks BEEEEAUTIFUL! And your cuties looks pretty pleased with it too. A new home! How exciting!

Janet - Yep. Hardwood in the foreground and cork in the kitchen. Both need a good scrub-down, but we're waiting until the hardwood installer comes back to (supposedly) fix the mistakes he made the first time.

Hooray! Enjoy the new place. Maybe when you're done choosing paint and things, you can come over and help me with mine. I need curtains in a big way.

I'll admit that I haven't been following the Great Paint Chip Adventure of 2008, but the "yellow" in the kitchen looks fantastic!

Congrats on the new house. I hope your life in it is full of love, laughter and chocolate.

Oh, it's GORGEOUS! And the kids look so happy. New houses are all potential, aren't they? A new, blank canvas (albeit one with carefully chosen wall colours and flooring and cabinets ...)

HOW exciting!! The first meal in my new house (8 yrs ago) I ordered a pizza. We didn't have furniture in yet other than a card table. As I was carrying it to the card table I dropped it. The box flew open and I had a hot pizza upside down on my new beige carpet. Oh, and no cleaning supplies. Because we hadn't moved in yet. Yes, I cried.
